At Westwind, an Outdoor Education Experience is planned every 2 years for our Grade 6 & 7 students.

We are very excited to be able to offer our Grade 6 & 7 students an Outdoor Education experience from October 7-9, 2026.

Here are a few pieces of information that will be helpful for you:

• Attached you will find a comprehensive Outdoor Education Information package that outlines all you need to know about camp.
• A Parent Information Night for all current Grade 5 & 6 students (next year's Grade 6 & 7 students) will be held on January 29th at 6pm. Please bring your questions!
• A Camp Registration Package will be sent home with your child on January 30th. These forms are also attached below. Please complete the Camp Registration package and return all forms to the school by February 27th to confirm attendance for Outdoor Ed.
• Camp Jubilee has provided a link for their set of Waiver forms, including diet and health info. Please click this link and complete by February 27th as well:  https://tinyurl.com/3r36t2yd
• A timeline for payments is included in the attachment. No student will be precluded from attending for financial reasons. If there is a need for financial support, please contact Mrs. Tse or Ms. Reid in the school office and we will create a plan together.
