Welcome to Westwind Elementary School! Each school year is filled with many opportunities for us to learn and grow together. One of our goals at Westwind is to make the experience of education a meaningful, challenging and rewarding one for all members of our community. By building on children's strengths in a caring and dynamic learning environment, we can make your child's experience at school a positive and rewarding one. Education is truly a partnership; we value and rely on your involvement in your child's educational program.

The purpose of this website is to share with you some important information about Westwind Elementary School and about the Richmond School District. In addition to this website, our student agendas, school newsletters and emails home provide information about school activities and events. Our school staff welcome visits and telephone calls from parents. Our PAC (Parent Advisory Council) meets monthly and all parents are encouraged to attend. PAC meetings offer further opportunities to learn about and become involved in the life of the school. Check out the school calendar and newsletters to see important dates and times. We also post regularly on Instagram @westwindwaves. We hope that all of these methods of communication will help to ensure you are up-to-date on the many happenings at our school!
