Islam - Last day of the Holy Month of Ramadan - the month of fasting, self examination and devotion during which physically able Muslims to not eat or drink from the first sign of dawn until sunset. More information about Ramadan HERE.

Eid al-Fitr is the breaking of the fast that celebrates the end of Ramadan (observance begins at sunset the previous day). Eid al-Fitr is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwal, which is the tenth month in the Muslim (lunar) calendar.
