To track behaviour and better understand how we are doing, we’ve created an online survey to see what conflicts are happening and how they are resolved. We introduced the survey to the staff at our most recent staff meeting and the survey can be completed by any staff members when behaviour occurs. The survey will help collect data about the following:

What happened?

Who was involved?

Who was harmed?

What type of harm occurred? (physical, verbal, non-verbal, etc.)

How was the conflict resolved?

Collecting this data will help us better understand themes and patterns to the behaviour that is happening at school, and, over time, we will get a better sense of whether our school-wide approaches to teaching kindness are effective in reducing the number of conflicts that are occurring.
